Lisa,

Are you still around? In searching for a Gospel-centered curriculum for my kids, I came across your blog. I can totally identify with your foundational principals! I was just wondering, now that you have been through this a bit, if you had some concise advice for somebody who is just starting out on this path. What resources have you found most beneficial? Did your friend ever get back to you about John Vreugdenhil's three-volume series, "God's Care and Continuance of His Church"? I, too, cannot find any additional information about the series. Anyway, I hope you get updates on your posts because I couldn't find an e-mail address. ;) Thanks so much for your time and sharing the wisdom you've gleaned over the years!!! Warmly, Elizabeth

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I know that I haven't updated in forever. I have the usual excuses (business of actually teaching my kids, moving three times in the last 2 years, etc.). I do really appreciate your interest though. I did find the "God's Care and Continuation of His Church" books at Reformation Heritage Books (http://www.heritagebooks.org/bookstore/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=4436). The grammar is a bit awkward, but the books are really useful. I am learning a lot about Church history. And the theology of the author is so refreshingly reformed. The three books focus mostly on the reformation, but they have a little bit about the early church, and a little more about the middle ages. I am using them along with the other books I mentioned in my previous posts. If you have some other questions you can e-mail me at lisa dot bueno at gmail dot com
